JP’S LAW

What is “JPs Law”? JP’s Law is Virginia Senate Bill 367 (SB367) and will allow individuals to VOLUNTARILY add an innocuous number/code to special Virginia DMV issued driver’s licenses and/or identification cards noting they have Autism or an Intellectual Disability. This will help law enforcement be more aware of an individual’s diagnosis and they can better respond to their unique abilities and limitations.

Watch this TEDxRVA talk from our President and Founder Pam Mines.  She explains why she initiated JP’s Law for this community and her desire to take JP’s Law from being a state law, to a National Law
